What is permanent makeup?
It is a form of cosmetic tattoo that uses master techniques to implant colour into the dermal layer of the skin. Enhancing or fixing features that would normally be done with makeup products at home.
How permanent?
Technically a Permanent Make Up procedure would be something everlasting. The life span of the cosmetic tattoo can vary from individuals depending on factors including a persons everyday activities, personal health, and brand of pigment used.
Highly dependent on the pressure the technician implants the pigments. Going too far may have the pigment further into the skin or even cause long term damage. Too light will result in high risk loss of pigment, longevity of brows and may risk also having no colour being deposited as well. Normally we advise clients that they may last from 6 months to 2 years.
What is Nano Brows?
Same definition to traditional micro blading, but Nano you are using a very fine needle to implant thinner strokes that are more compacted together. This technique mimics the “powdered” look you would achieve drawing your brows with regular makeup at home.

Patch tests involves placing minimal amounts of the products used against the skin and keeping them in a fixed area. Recommended at least 48 hours prior to procedure, this determines any allergies or skin reactions. NOTICE that having a patch test, there is no guarantee reactions are not still at risk due to aftercare or other factors. Patch test requirements: patch test must be made prior to your initial appointment date. Incase of no patch test you understand that you will be waiving the right to patch test and going ahead with the procedure.
Prior to appointment you will be numbed after initial outline where the pain is quite minimal, we do numb throughout appointment only when necessary!
How to prepare for your appointment?
Arrive with your daily makeup. This will allow you to see how the pre draw brows will look with your everyday makeup! I take a lot of photos :) You msy arrive with or without you brows drawn. If you wanted to show me how you like to draw them on, that may be helpful to me.
Make sure not to use any stimulants prior to appointment ! This is very important because we want to ensure you are not excessively bleeding at your appointment. Bleeding is not wanted because bleeding causes you to push out your tattoo pigment.
AVOID 24/48 HRS PRIOR: CAFFEINE. SMOKING. BLOOD THINNING MEDICATIONS (ADVIL, TYLENOL, IBUPROFEN, ETC), ALCOHOL
You cannot excessively sweat for 7 days after appointment. If you workout I’d recommend doing before.
You cannot get brows wet for 3 days after appointment. I would recommend to wash hair prior.
